Concept design and development of a 35-unit townhouse complex over a concrete parkade in Surrey, BC.
Developed during Homayoun Rad’s tenure at Aplin Martin, where he served as Manager of the Architecture Team and led the concept design, renovation, and construction administration phases.
The project involved extensive coordination across architectural, structural, MEP, landscape, and arborist disciplines, reflecting a highly integrated design approach.
A key feature of the project was the collaboration with First Nations artist Sheldon Williams, whose work establishes a unique cultural identity and elevates the character of the development within the city. The project was successfully delivered by MYK Construction within a compressed construction schedule.
